[At the end of the day, before he goes to bed with Sylvia, Wander closes the door to his room (it's only temporary! He'll leave it open again for the night) and stands by his desk holding another sauce bottle with a homemade nonalcoholic drink.]

Ghostave? [While the gift is important, the priority is to continue working on befriending the Ghost Host.]

I'm almost growing fond of the name.

[That's a good thing, at least. Better than detesting the name. Wander holds up the bottle.] I made you some iced tea. Dunno if you ever had the good home-made kind, but it helps with coolin' off.

[He wonders if temperature matters to ghosts. Though he never knew they liked juice before coming to the mansion, but every day is a learning experience.

Once Ghostave takes it off his hands, Wander holds his arms tight against his body.] ...Do you have someone important to you?

[he takes the bottle, contemplating the question.]

...I did. Once.

[He nods.]

I wouldn't say "once" means "never again". Folks come and go, friends leave just the same, but...everyone's just as special. [looks up.] Did you write what was in the secret envelope? You must know about my past if you know that.

I know what's supposed to be in the envelopes secondhand. I haven't seen inside them.

Oh. [Oh. That. Well, he doesn't have to delve too many details of his backstory then.] Well, thanks. It does help knowin' you didn't take a peek.

...But you do know, then, why this last envelope's got everyone upset.

[Wander takes a moment to contemplate his next question.]

...Do most of the ghosts get along with each other? You never mentioned bein' friends with the others.

Yes. There are a number of parties thrown here in the mansion.

I socialize. I'm not the sort to surround myself with others.

Doesn't that get lonely? I mean, outside of parties, do you ever just talk to each other, or do you hide away in your rooms?

We mingle. Of course we do. I'm just not the talkative sort.

I can see that! [Wander pls] But it's good to hang out with other folks from time to time. Heck, I do appreciate you takin' the time just to talk to me. I reckon you're really busy runnin' this mansion.

It tends to sort itself out. There's a few wildcards here and there, but it's not as difficult as you might think most days.
